We have three priorities for our youth:

1- Islamic Education (Comprehensive, practical and authentic)

2- Spiritual Development (Uplifting, sunnah based, and life changing)

3- Outreach / Dawah (Engaging, Integrating, and Implementing Islam)

MAS Youth Halaqahs (Classes):  

The class discusses topics and subjects ranging from the life of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), His Companions, Purification of the Soul, Islamic Manners, Lives of previous Prophets (PBUT) and outreach.

MAS Nightly Program (Iatikafs): 

  It is the sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) (way of the Prophet PBUH) to pray at night. This program trains the youth to develop their own personal nightly prayers and enhances their spiritual development. It includes a nightly program of lectures, short talks, prayers and the nightly / morning remembrances that the Prophet (PBUH) used to say (Dhikr). This program will be announced by email and on the website. Please check the list of current activities. (Ages 9 and above, boys and girls)

MAS Youth Activities:  

Example of these activities are visits to natural attractions, visits to museums, sporting events and competitions, renting swimming pools, rock climbing and going to laser tag. These activities offer the youth a moral and Islamic entertainment option.

MAS Youth Outreach:  

Our outreach program will help the youth form their Islamic identity based on what they learn in practice not what they learned in class. It offers them an opportunity to live Islam not just read about it. It teaches them to be activists and a positive element in our society. It develops in them a sense of leadership, concern and connection with the total society. It exposes them to Islamic solutions to problems facing society everyday. It makes the youth encounter issues like environmentalism, conservationism, natural resources, social justice, the poor, the uninsured, welfare, politics, other religions, movements, political activism etc...
